One-half of the popular singing duo Kol B'Seder, his original songs, such as the universally beloved "Shalom Rav," are known throughout the Jewish world. One of the first cantors to use a guitar in Jewish worship, he has been hailed as a "pioneer," one of a few individuals who literally changed the sound of American synagogue music.
