About

Yisrael Campbell is just your average Irish, Italian, Catholic, Reform, Conservative, Unorthodox, Orthodox Jew, who was born to be funny. (The Jewish part came later.) A spiritual journey stretching across four decades, two continents, and three circumcisions. From the wildly successful off-Broadway play. Yisrael is hilarious.

Programs

1
Circumcise Me!
He's just your average Irish, Italian Catholic kid from Philly, comic actor, sober alcoholic, recovering drug addict, husband, father of 4, Reform, Conservative, unorthodox, Orthodox Jew. His is the true -- and truly unforgettable -- story of a man who was born to be funny. (The Jewish part came later.)
2
Kaddish
What happens when you're sitting shiva and saying Kaddish for a year for your (Catholic) mother (who's probably turning in her grave)? Only Yisrael Campbell, your average Irish Catholic kid from Philly, can make death so very funny.

Booking Our Speakers

Weekday/Sunday programs are approximately one hour. Shabbat Scholar-in-Residence usually includes two talks, sometimes three.

Usually: The event price includes honorarium and all expenses, including international and domestic airfare and local expenses. We ask venues to provide home-hospitality for one night (for weekday/Sunday programs), or two nights (for Shabbat programs), or for multi-day programs, one night for each day of the event. If your venue is unable to provide home hospitality, an additional charge of $150 per night will be assessed to cover speaker expenses.

Need a special program for Shavuot, Holocaust Remembrence Day, or July 4th? We have suggestions.
