About

Elana Frank, mom of 3 through IVF and embryo donation, founded the Jewish Fertility Foundation (JFF) to help others navigate infertility. She speaks nationally about engaging Jewish leaders on fertility, reproductive rights post-Roe, empowering women, and scaling sustainable nonprofits. With $8M+ raised, 300+ babies born (77 more on the way), and 10 hubs, JFF is now expanding nationwide.

Fertility Education & Building Compassionate Jewish Communities
A practical, values-driven framework for engaging Jewish leaders and institutions in meaningful conversations about fertility. Topics include reducing stigma, pathways to parenthood (surrogacy, adoption, donor gametes), fertility preservation through a Jewish values lens, ethical and halachic perspectives on embryo donation, and mobilizing communities to better support families.

Post-Roe v. Wade: Fertility & Reproductive Rights in a Changing Landscape
An exploration of how shifting legal realities affect fertility care. Topics include the impact of post-Roe legislation on fertility treatment and access, lessons from clinic closures in restrictive states, Jewish legal and ethical perspectives on reproductive health, and equipping rabbis and leaders to educate, advocate, and support families navigating care in challenging environments.

Building and Scaling a Sustainable Nonprofit Model
Real-world lessons from growing a mission-driven nonprofit while maintaining values, consistency, and impact. Topics include financial sustainability through fundraising, grants, and partnerships, scaling across cities without losing mission or culture, collaboration over competition, building systems for long-term growth, and advancing women’s leadership in Jewish communal organizations.

Empowering Women in Leadership
A candid and practical conversation about leadership, equity, and building workplaces where women thrive. Topics include navigating leadership as a female founder, breaking barriers in the Jewish nonprofit space, creating family-friendly and flexible workplaces, how supportive policies drive retention and performance, and mentoring the next generation of women leaders.

Booking Our Speakers

Weekday/Sunday programs are approximately one hour. Shabbat Scholar-in-Residence usually includes two talks, sometimes three.

Usually: The event price includes honorarium and all expenses, including international and domestic airfare and local expenses. We ask venues to provide home-hospitality for one night (for weekday/Sunday programs), or two nights (for Shabbat programs), or for multi-day programs, one night for each day of the event. If your venue is unable to provide home hospitality, an additional charge of $150 per night will be assessed to cover speaker expenses.
