Programs

1
The "3 Ds" of the New Antisemitism / Myths and Madness in the Middle East: Fundamentals... and a Path to Peace
Having helped Natan Sharansky to develop the "3 Ds" of the new antisemitism, I offer this talk to help activists, students & others to clearly understand the difference between reasonable debate about Israel's policies and anti-Israel rhetoric, and the fundamental misperceptions regarding Israel and the Arab-Israeli conflict, ending with a unique and creative approach to conflict resolution..
2
Re-Asserting the legitimacy of Israel and Zionism
Indigenous people returning to our ancestral homeland: An illuminating and provocative discussion of Jewish identity; Judaism as more than ‘just a religion’; Zionism as the national liberation movement of the Jewish people and Jews as a civilization, and the 'centrist' consensus in Israeli society.
3
A new approach to Israel’s media relations
An in-depth look at Israeli ‘hasbara’ (public diplomacy) efforts and how to promote accuracy and fairness in reporting about Israel and the conflict from the region by providing services rather than just information, embracing journalists rather than attacking them, with examples from the work of MediaCentral, HonestReporting's Jerusalem-based project helping foreign correspondents in Israel.
4
My Israel Trail: Finding Peace in the Land of Milk & Honey - Lessons learned
During a two-month hike along Shvil Yisrael, the Israel National Trail, winding 700 miles through the Negev desert, the mountains of the Galil, the hills of Jerusalem and the beaches on the coast, Aryeh recovered from divorce and re-discovered love for our country, the land and its people. An inspiring and uplifting story of personal growth with lessons for regional peace, with photos and video.
5
Human Rights & Freedom in the Middle East: Natan Sharansky & a “process” for real peace for the region
A presentation of Sharansky’s call to “take back” the banner of human rights by returning to traditional definitions & applying them to the Middle East. Themes include: Democracy as the only real guarantor of security and peace; Israel as the champion of freedom in the region; encouragement of greater freedom in the Arab world for the benefit of all; and the Jewish sources of modern human rights.

Aryeh is a dynamic, inspiring, passionate speaker able to cover a broad spectrum of topics, from Israel's challenges in the media to freedomin the Middle East, from Israel's economic miracle to the lighter and more serious sides of Aliya - including fascinating insights from his personal experience working with people as diverse as Natan Sharansky, Anderson Cooper, James Woolsey & many others.

— Anonymous, President, Hadassah US Chapter, California

Able to explain key points in an easy-to-understand and depoliticized manner. I thought it was very interesting; a very open-minded view. It was insightful that he was simply pro-human, instead of taking sides. The topics Green covered and his viewpoints were fascinating... Green is really engaging and fluent speaker. http://www1.amherst.edu/~astudent/The%20Student/2006-2007/issue10/news/02.html
